ACM Planning Committee Minutes September 7, 2025

Feedback from the last ACM

This was the ACM where we had Kathy Elton facilitate and discussed the Discord proposal.

Quite well attended. An overall positive meeting. 

Having so many people there made a big difference. 

Some were surprised at the $300 cost for an outside facilitator. 

Having everyone attend facilitator training would be helpful so everyone understands more about facilitation.

We are also looking at a community-wide training.

What are the goals of ACM? What’s the purpose?

Planning of Upcoming ACMs

Marina has a proposal related to the farmette. Concerned about the farmette being shared & accessible for all. Has a list of issues noticed. Budgeting is also a challenge. Had a handout.  

 

Set Agenda for Next ACM: Wednesday, September 1010, 7 pm

Two main parts:

• Discussion and call for consensus on Discord Proposal
• Landscaping prep needed for stucco project

Facilitator: Kathy Elton generously offered to facilitate again pro-bonobono’

General Meeting Structure: follow flowchart of Formal Consensus

1. Review the flowchart & go over the stages
2. Clarifying questions about the proposal
3. General Discussion (& potential call for consensus - are there any unresolved concerns?)
4. Listing concerns
5. Grouping concerns
6. Tesolving grouped concerns one by one

Action Items:

• Ben to send formal consensus flowchart and book to Kathy, ask about formal facilitator training
• Kerry to print off copies of the flowchart
