Chicken To Do List 

Food Scraps: Laura will make a sign to designate a location for community members to put chicken scraps for chickens to eat. This is is prevent skunks in the coop looking for food and other rodents. Chicken club members will throw out remaining food scraps on their day to feed the chickens. 

Email to Community: After Laura makes a sign, Eliza will email the community with  a picture of the location of the food bin, a reminder to only give appropriate food to chickens. Coleen will email Eliza the poster to include in the email. Also remind community members to take off rubber bands, stickers and twist ties before giving veggie scraps to chickens. 

Coop Cleanup: Amy will ask NF if they want the coop bedding for the garden. We will plan a day to get together around October to be a deep clean of the coop and yard. Amy will test Scott D to see if he has any wood shaving we can have to replace the bedding in the coop. Follow Up - NF said No but some of us want bedding to winterize our garden beds. Amy had a compost that can use the remaining wood shavings we are cleaning up from the coop. Licence: Beth will renew the license 

License: Beth will make sure that we renew our license for the new year. She will send a Venmo request to everyone to chip in when we need to pay for the renewal. 

Security: There have been some issues with security for the coop. Beth will look into a door code system. When purchased the club will be chip in to replace the coop door with a code door knob.
