Guest Room Use Policy

This is a draft policy, subject to discussion and consensus at an ACM

The common house guest rooms are a shared community resource and should be treated with respect.

  1. Each Unit may use a total of 14 room nights per calendar year at no charge (but donations are always appreciated). After that, a $30/room/night fee will be charged to the unit owner for use of the guest rooms.
    1. Free nights are not transferrable to other units and may not be used for hosting other units' guests
  2. Reservations must be written on the common house calendar.
  3. Pets are not allowed. No exceptions.
  4. Hosts should notify the community email list (wasatchcommons@googlegroups.com) in advance:
    1. Who is staying in the guest room
    2. Which guest room(s) they are staying in
    3. The make/model/color of their cars
  5. Fill out the whiteboard next to the CH calendar:IMG_5718.jpg
  6. Hosts are responsible for making sure guests follow common house & community rules and for making sure the guest rooms are cleaned and ready for the next guest.
  7. Guests may store food in the kitchen fridge and freezer, but please make sure all food is labeled with the guests' name and the date (labels have been provided).

Guest room keys are stored in _______. Residents who are hosting guests are responsible to make sure keys are returned at the end of the guest's stay. A fee of $___ will be charged for keys that are not returned. A fee of $___ will be charged for lost keys.
