Notes

  •  Walkthrough
    • Northeast of the property needs to be cleaned out
    • The pile  on east field of dead branches, need a chainsaw
    • South tree logs
    • How many logs can we move out?
    • Logs on west berm
      • remove some of them and put edging
    • Take note of the stumps in the front by the path
    • Dead tree near the carport (we can take that out)
  • Robyn to work with Lila and Joe to take care of the space near their house
  • Lila has been adopting Myste's yard
    • Planting Pumpkin plants
    • Strawberries
  • Winter Maintenance - It can still be done
    • Roses on the east side are in the driveway
      • None of the shrubs have been trimmed
      • Power tools needed, very difficult task
      • Trim shrubs out of sidewalk - got a warning from city last time
    • No trimming on the plums
      • The last time we quoted $400 to trim all plums
  • Swale on west entrance
    • Need to remove seedlings that are now tall
    • Laraine paid Mike and he cleaned the whole area out. Amy worked on it too, used TORDON RTU
    •  Vinnie is interested in working on the trees in the swale.
  • May found an electric pruner
  • Stump grinding - What's the criteria for removing?
    • Safety is more important than aesthetics (Lila, Mary)
    • Give preference to the ones that are along the walkway (Lila, Robin)
    • Kay: "Alex picked a bid that didn't include the stumps but was more expensive.  I'd say she's lost her chance."
  • Tree in front of Vinni's
    • Landscape committee agrees to remove Vinni's tree (17)
    • Needs to be brought up to management
  • Dry material behind north units can be removed (all owners on board)
  • Clean up date still TBD
  • Common house lawn - patches

  • Emilie to e-mail Linda and Laraine about trimming plums
  • Emilie to send a note about tree in front of Unit 17
  • We need a new conversation about stump griding next month
