Check-in: What are your goals for landscaping this year? Community Values that apply to committee work and Harmony with the Earth, Sustainability and Beauty.

Harmony with the Earth

Sustainability

As stewards or as strands in a web, we recognize our interdependence with the Earth and live in conscious gratitude. We work to soften our impact on the Earth through various methods of conservation. We remain mindful that our choices affect other beings and systems.

Beauty

We are committed to the synergy of aesthetic elegance and environmental harmony, both in the ways we live and in how we arrange and care for our physical environment.

We want a landscape that is sustainable for the environment, our climate, our finances, our labor.

Suggested Tasks for This Year

Clean up big stuff laying around -- branches, junk.  Donate, take to dump. Robyn and Jorge have a truck; Thomas has a trailer.

Grinding stumps.  Deal with stumps that keep sprouting and those that can't be ground.

Assess tree health.  Walk through.  Prioritize and get estimates.

Clean up yellow roses on northwest & extend irrigation to them.

Change orchard irrigation to drip.
