    1. How do we balance the work we need to do in this committee with the administrative functions of the committee?
    2. Formalize/standardize consensus process
      1. When must proposals be sent out to the community by? Or do they need to be send to the ACM Planning Committee first?
      2. Minimum # of ACMs to be eligible for consensus?
        1. No such thing as "fast-tracked proposal"
    3. ACM Code of Conduct?
      1. Values: authenticity & vulnerability, intergenerational collaboration, flexibility over compromise, inclusivity, mutual mentoring, appreciative inquiry (questioning that seeks what is working, rather than focusing on what is broken or missing)
  6. Action Items

*Laraine won't be able to make Sunday ACMs beginning in Jan 2024 because of a change in her church meeting times. Laraine also has a hard cut off at 8:00 pm on Sundays.

Ideas
  • Important to still have discussion at ACM, not just presentations
  • How should the ACM Planning Committee vet proposals? What should the process be?
  • Important for the facilitator to call out inappropriate behavior/comments
  • Calling for a 5 min break when discussions are getting heated
  • ACM Code of Conduct
  • Formalize consensus process
  • Who can we invite to be on the committee? Who can we invite to facilitate?

    • Brainstorming: no idea is a bad idea
      • Lynda will write ideas on the board, Ben will duplicate the ideas for Zoom
      • Ask Vinnie to include ideas during brainstorming ideas
