ACM Planning Committee Minutes May 18, 2024

Opening activity reflections: limited time in ACM to reflect and have discussion. Having a deep, meaningful check-in/opening can be challenging in such a short timeframe. May want to keep opening activities light. Forcing people to interact.

Sometimes people feel judged when passing during check-in. Prescribing a questions. 

Reflect on the last ACM

Overall went well. Great discussion on aging.

• ProjectHub preview: The Project Hub committee would like to introduce what we are and an overview of what we have worked on thus far.
• More discussion on aging in community. Once/month discussion group?
  • 30 min inter-generational conversation on 
• General discussion: What are the next steps on Pay or Play, Storage/Architectural Review Committee?
• Budget season: how do we want to handle it this year?
  • Can we start budget discussions earlier - one in August, September, October, November, rather than cramming them all into the last 4-5 ACMs?
• Laraine: presentation on styles of managing conflict
• Kerry: Book study/workshop
