A lot of great discussion and feedback about consensus, the proposal process. How do we move forward?

To some extent, we need to finalize our values and our governance model (if we make any changes - or not) because the proposal process will likely differ under different models.

• Have a discussion: We currently use consensus with unanimity. What other models of group-based decision making (consensus, sociocracy, or others) are community members familiar with? Would some be willing to present in a future ACM on other models of group-based decision making?
  • Do we want to ask everyone to read the consensus with unanimity article?
  • Busting the Myth that Consensus with Unanimity is Good for Communities (Part 1)
  • Busting the Myth that Consensus with Unanimity is Good for Communities (Part 2)
• ACM discussion on email guidelines. What’s appropriate? What does the community want to do when the guidelines are broken?
• Possible proposal idea: Safety & Security - review path lighting, dark spots. Initial discussion.
