Thank you do Tobi & Coleman for work on keeping elms out of swale by common house.
Common House. April team got a lot done, and got it done quickly because people are cleaning up after events.
Welcoming. Have had multiple open houses.
Trish Becker, Exec Director of Cohousing USA, wants to highlight our community May 1st. If you have ideas about what we should feature, let Vicky know.
May want a refresher/orientation on email guidelines at an ACM.
Maintenance. Decided to move drain cleaning to fall when the water table will be lower. Robin measured some of the trip hazards on the path for attention.
Request, need a new pushbroom for the east side dumpster. The one there is shot.
Fund Raising. If you see pots that are cheap and also nice or cute (or risque) at yard sales or thrift stores, pass them to Robin for plant sales.
ACM Schedule for the Summer
For summer, May, June, July, & August, having ACMs once a month on the fourth Sunday, unless something comes up so it is felt a second Wednesday ACM is needed.
Will continue having two ACM Planning meetings per month, 1st & 3rd Sundays. This is a great time to try facilitating with extra time to plan and get coaching.
If you have a topic that you want at an ACM, there is a form you can submit. Even if you submit it, ACM Planning committee strongly encourages you to attend a planning meeting, especially if it is anything more than an announcement you want ten minutes for. If Sunday evenings don’t work for you, talk to a committee member (Ben, Kerry, Lynda, Laraine, Linda); they may be able to schedule a meeting on a different day/time to accommodate you. If you have questions, suggestions, or concerns about process (how meetings are run & how decisions are made), come to a planning meeting or talk to a member.
