Clothes Line Cord

Correct diameter for clothes line is 1/4" or 5/32". Cotton is natural and softer on the hands but must be replaced regularly.

Clothes line poles are 23 ft apart.  There are 8 lines.  Cord is threaded from line to next line along post, 1' distance, seven times. One foot on each end to attach with clothes line tightener to adjust tension.  (23 x 8) + 7 + 2 = total of 195 feet of cord needed.
